SRHM has participated at the International Surrogacy Forum held in Cambridge on 27 – 28 June 2019.
The Forum explored a range of issues and challenges surrounding the law and practice of national and international surrogacy from a practical perspective. Practitioners, lawmakers, academics and other participants discussed the legal consequences of the rise in surrogacy arrangements and, in particular, reproductive tourism.
SRHM is actively contributing to the sexual and reproductive health justice perspectives of gestational surrogacy. We welcome submissions on the topic in our open issue and will be sharing a call for papers on the subject soon.
