LAUNCH OF THE SRHM JOURNAL SPECIAL COLLECTION ON ABORTION RIGHTS
The continuing fight for abortion rights: Taking stock of the evidence
10 December 2024
On Human Rights Day, 10 December 2024, Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters (SRHM) launched a Special Collection of the SRHM Journal, ‘The continuing fight for abortion rights: Taking stock of the evidence’, now available online.
This collection showcases over 30 articles from the SRHM journal, ranging from women’s experiences, policies and politics of abortion, criminalization and legal matters, health systems and services, technological advances, the needs and rights of marginalized populations and emerging challenges. The collection also highlights the gaps in current evidence and calls for research, discussion and analysis.
In observance of Human Rights Day 2024, SRHM co-hosted five webinars across timezones on Tuesday 10 December 2024, each dedicated to a specific region to examine recent gains and setbacks of abortion rights in each region and to identify the evidence needed to advance abortion rights locally.
