RHM is transitioning to a fully Open Access (OA) publishing model

6 December, 2016

In January 2017, RHM journal is moving to a new publisher, Taylor&Francis, and transitioning to a fully Open Access (OA) publishing model, meaning all current and back articles for publication will be available online, free of charge, for anyone to read.

What this means for RHM authors

RHM will continue its long tradition of publishing themed issues on emerging topics. All accepted themed papers, throughout this first year of transition, will be published Open Access free of charge. Please note this applies to papers published in the following issues

  1. Disability and sexual and reproductive health and rights (May 2017)
  2. SRHR in humanitarian settings (September 2017)
  3. Faith, gender and sexuality (TBC)

All accepted papers that fall outside the themes will be published on a rolling basis and made available online free of charge immediately upon publication. Information about OA fees for non-theme papers will be available on the journal website. RHM remains committed to support researchers in the global South. A full fee waiver will be offered to papers that are authored by researchers based in low-income countries while we will offer a reduced OA fee for papers submitted by authors from middle-income countries.
